Come into Clare, the 40mph limit and then the 30mph limit.
We’re on a new development which is the 4th turning on the left, “Maxim Lane”, after you come into the 30mph limit. Watch out as the 1st turning is immediately after you come into the 30mph limit.
The road into the development is marked “Maxim Lane”. The road then forks, take the left hand fork marked “Pask Way.”
Come up Pask Way, past an open area on the right with a row of mews houses overlooking it.
Turn into a gravelled area immediately behind the mews houses, with detached houses round it. We’re the detached house in the top left hand corner, with “Elmhurst” by the front door. Just park on our drive.

Come through the centre of Clare and out the other side heading towards Haverhill. As you come out of the centre the road narrows with lovely old houses on both sides.
As the houses start to thin out on the left, look for a turning to “Ashen.” Immediately after it is an old pink detached house. Opposite it is a new development with the road in marked “Maxim Lane.”
